Morning all, I've been quite busy so far this term so I've not been able to get to any of the monday night meetings yet. Is there any Mordheim going on yet? Hopefully I'll be able to get along to a few Monday nights over the rest of the term. See you soon

If you're replying to the post stuffed full of dodgy goldselling/powerleveling links, yes, it is very much against the rules of those games to buy gold and have someone else powerlevel your characters for you (not to mention moronic on so many levels).
But there's no point in replying to it, because in all likelihood, the thing that posted that was a mindless advertising bot. Ideally, a mod should delete spammy bot-posted advertising like that.

So... can I convince all of you to play Warmachine instead?
It's cheaper, prettier, cooler, requires less models, has better models, uses a 2d6 system (sweet sweet bellcurves) instead of 1d6, has collectable cards, comes with a better paint range... and I have enough models to share if you want to try it out =)
In a line, it's a steampunk fantasy wargame based on the D&D Iron Kingdoms setting (if you've heard of that at all). It features lots of giant steampunk robots beating the crap out of each other while wizards in steampunk armor run around committing overkill.
Can be played with as few as three models but ideally you have around 15 to 20 - one warcaster, two or three warjacks, 2 sets of 6man troops, a few solos etc.
Failing that I know somebody who'd be willing to run Necromunda if you are so inclined; that requires very little model transport and does well for following a campaign story etc.
