I'm trying to start up a RPG (my first attempt to do so having not garnered much interest.
The game will be Exalted, an epic fantasy setting dealing with the Chosen of the Gods returning to the world after centuries of their absence.
The Chronicle of Reaching Shadows will be an account of the Chosen and their struggles against the threats to Creation. Darkness rises, and the Exalted must chose whether to stand against it with shining heroism, or the turn the power of shadows against itself.
Players of all levels of experience - with both Exalted and RPGs in general - are welcome. The Exalted system is simple to learn and understand, but very rewarding to play.
Anyone who's intrested, email me at alexander.cresswell5@googlemail.com

I'll hopefully (if I can get everything sorted out be running a taster session and prologue at the convention.
Seeds of Darkness:
In the ice-mines of Crystal, something vile grows in the frozen darkness. Unsuspecting, a group of champions must find the answer to the evil plaguing the cold tunnels, and escape with a warning.

Apparently you turned up a couple of times to briefly see if people wanted to play, but didn't stick around? How come?

You mean there was someone actualy intrested? Sorry, but given the lack of any intrest, and the fact there wasn't anything else I could get involved in, I rather gave up on it. If that wasn't right... well, I'm glad there was intrest.
Alright, I'm going to make one last try to get this going:
Exalted is a game where you play an incandescent demigod busting out cosmic kung-fu on soul-sucking elves from beyond the edge of a flat world while the vengeful ghosts of your predecessors gnaw at the underpinnings of reality, an empire of elementally-empowered supersoldiers are gunning for your hide while backstabbing each other, and critters that make Cthulhu look like Hello Kitty try to break back into the world so they can TORTURE it.
If people are intrested in playing, email me. So far, only one person has expressed intrest. If I can get three players intrested, I'll try to get it started. If I can get five players intrested, we can have a perfect circle. Seven players is the maximum, but I don't really hold out any hope for that.

It might help a bit if you got involved with some of the activities within SF&F. At the convention, it usually takes some time to find people who're free - and you have to be there trying to get them to play. Leaving a note on the board, pootling off, and giving up... well, that's pootling off and giving up.
Failing that, if you'd gotten involved in whatever was happening, or waited until there was space somewhere, you'd've met a few people. Played some games, had a laugh... people tend to play games with people they know. Get to know some people, and it might work a bit better.
Good luck!
