I'm currently playing in LT, and I'm curious which faction the society has members in (if any). also would like to offer my services as an NPC in the campus larp.

Thats fine then, I will stick with my current group. And for some reason (I have no idea why) I feel like being an NPC for a change. chances are I will change my mind again by october

Hail traveler! I am one of those ref people that runs the campus LARP. I look forward to meeting you and getting you involved in the system..... but... There are no NPC roles available in the campus LARP. Us refs play all the different NPCs that interact with the players. You [as a player] would have to create a character and enter the game world as an Adventurer alongside all the other players. Hope this doesn't put you off at all, being a player isn't all bad.... just see these glowing testimonials: "Shattered Legacies is the greatest and I would never have any other breakfast cereal... put down the gun please" - ignore that last bit. Anyway hope this helps. Rob

Hello, future fresher. About wanting to play an NPC, why so? What are you under the impression that the differences are? If you're not a ref and you're playing a character, you are near enough by definition not an NPC. If it helps, in addition to playing the monstery enemies on the mission Sundays (for missions your character isn't on), there are occasionally one or two NPC-like roles that the refs sometimes give to players (although they play most NPCs themselves; certainly the important and recurring ones), which is the closest thing I can think of to what I think you're saying. I came along and monstered for two or three mission Sundays before genning a character of my own; I'd recommend doing that if you want to get a feel for the system before making any character decisions. Anyway, 'tis awesome that you're interested in the campus LARP, and I guess we'll be seeing you in October.

For introduction to the system, we should have a bunch of pre-gens to play at the first convention on a mission especially designed for new characters. Join up and play! We want players.
